The girls have been such great little helpers ... infact , they made this salad all by them self .

This is the color Lillian picked for her room ( Lavendar ) and it is a little lighter in real life . This photo was taken before i finished their room , so please excuse the mess on the floor . I am so happy to finally have finished both girls' room . Now comes the big challenge : our room !!!

Anna-lena had a rough time deciding between bright orange and pink and i am sure glad we ended up with pink!!! The color kind of reminds me of strawberry milkshake ...

I realized that i have not posted a lot of pictures of our new house . We love it but unfortunaltly have also come to know what it means to be home owners ! Well, we discovered a leak under the master beathroom sink last week and after a run around with the insurance company it is finally getting fixed tomorrow ! Unfortunatly this is only the tip of the iceberg - behind the leak the drywall is molded and in need to be replaced . So the drywall saga is not finished yet ...

and then the window broke ... The gardener accidently broke Lillian's window ...So as you can tell we had a pretty exciting week ! Lillian is pretty miserable in her cast and keeps us up a good part of the night compalining of itching in her cast . She has 16 days to go ... Anna-lena is being a big helper lately and constantly talks about 'her big brother" - her imagination is really blooming...

The girls absolutly love bathtime .
This is Lillian's new cast . The white leg glows in the dark - " inexpensive night light "

June is the months of birthdays in our family . Anna-lena turned 3 on 6/12 , Lillian turned 5 today and my birthday is on saturday ... We have had 3 birthday parties and i think everybody with the exception of Anna-Lena is sick of cake.

Lillian's surgery

I just realized it has been a whole months since my last post ... well life has been crazy at the scarberrys . We moved into our new house may 22 ( poor bill had to move on his B-day ) and Lillian had surgery may 26 th. We didn't know if the surgery was a go because she was running a fever the night before ( 103 F ) . The morning of the surgery her temp was 99.8 F , so they decided to proceed with the surgery . If we would have to cancel the surgery it would have been months before she could have it because of all the equipment involved . However the surgery went very well without any complications . It took about 5 hours from start to finish . The surgeon was amazed at how strong her legs are !

Unfortunatly the first 2 days in the hospital were not good. Her pain was not controlled with morphin , so they finally switched her to dulaudit , tordol and valium . ( i think they could not stand to hear her scream from the top of her lungs for 24 hours ) . As a consequence to all these drugs Miss Lillian turned into a little grumpy "monster" ...

After 5 days she got discharged ... Life is so much better at home.
