I just realized it has been a whole months since my last post ... well life has been crazy at the scarberrys . We moved into our new house may 22 ( poor bill had to move on his B-day ) and Lillian had surgery may 26 th. We didn't know if the surgery was a go because she was running a fever the night before ( 103 F ) . The morning of the surgery her temp was 99.8 F , so they decided to proceed with the surgery . If we would have to cancel the surgery it would have been months before she could have it because of all the equipment involved . However the surgery went very well without any complications . It took about 5 hours from start to finish . The surgeon was amazed at how strong her legs are ! Unfortunatly the first 2 days in the hospital were not good. Her pain was not controlled with morphin , so they finally switched her to dulaudit , tordol and valium . ( i think they could not stand to hear her scream from the top of her lungs for 24 hours ) . As a consequence to all these drugs Miss Lillian turned into a little grumpy "monster" ...
After 5 days she got discharged ... Life is so much better at home.
